Windham Hospital, part of Hartford HealthCare, seeks Public Safety Officers to safeguard staff, patients and visitors across our facilities in Windham, CT. You will be trained to respond to emergencies, enforce safety protocols and help maintain a secure clinical setting.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, at least one year of public-facing service experience, and a valid CT Guard Card or plan to obtain it within 90 days. A valid driver's license and fluent English are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant public service experience (public safety, healthcare, or first responder).
• CT Guard Card or submission with plan to receive within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service and maintain safe, secure environments for patients, visitors, colleagues, clinicians and physicians.
• Respond to and manage hazardous and emergency situations and provide resources when situations are managed.
