Responsibilities

The Public Safety / Security Manager will assist the Director of Plant Operations by supervising the Security Department, ensuring compliance with regulations and documentation, and protecting patients, visitors, staff, and property. Responsibilities include investigating security incidents, handling combative situations, and maintaining communication with law enforcement agencies.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Two-year college degree preferred
• Two years of healthcare security supervision experience or related field
• PC 832 / Level 1 law enforcement training or higher
• Reserve Deputy / Police Officer experience, or experience with Corrections, Military Law Enforcement, or healthcare security management, can substitute for direct experience

Facility Specific Requirements:

• State Driver's license upon hire
• Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report
