Responsibilities

• Protect life and property through general law enforcement duties.
• Work under general supervision after field training.
• Rotate between patrol, fire division, or investigations as needed.
• Conduct interviews, gather statements, and process evidence.
• Make arrests and testify in court.
• Respond to emergencies via radio/phone.
• Participate in community outreach and school resource programs as needed.
• Attend in-service training and practice use of firearms.
