St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking a Per Diem Security Officer to monitor premises, perform electronic surveillance, and conduct routine rounds to protect patients, staff and visitors.
You will enforce hospital policies, work with the Environment of Care committee on safety initiatives, and be available for driving duties as needed. State Guard Certification, high school diploma, and a valid California driver's license are required.

Performs security services, including electronic surveillance, and systematic manual Security Officers rounds. Coordinates facility response to various potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors. Enforces policy & procedure, ensuring equitable enforcement. Follows guidelines and perpetual monitoring techniques, towards establishing a safe workplace for employees and a safe environment of care. Works with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to security and safety. Participates in employee awareness and education. . Driving as needed for company business.

St. Francis Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $25.91/hr. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
