Job summary

St. Mary's Hospital - Kankakee is seeking a Per Diem Security Officer to provide security services, including electronic surveillance and routine rounds. You will coordinate facility responses to incidents and help enforce policies to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

The role supports a multi-disciplinary Environment of Care approach and includes participation in staff education. Driving as needed for hospital business is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Healthcare security or related field preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• State Driver’s license upon hire.
• Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report.
