Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a dedicated security professional responsible for routine safety and emergency security activities to safeguard patients, staff and visitors. You will be the first responder to incidents within the facility and de-escalate critical events with sound judgment.

The role requires a GED/HS diploma, no experience required with 2 years in security preferred, and relevant certifications such as Taser, ASP Baton, and Mental Health First Aid.

Qualifications

Licenses and Certifications

• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500 Upon Hire Required
• IAHSS - Certification As A Security Officer within 1 Year Required
• Must pass pre-employment psychological screening Required
• Must pass and maintain all training requirements to maintain employment to include certifications in Taser, ASP Baton, Mental Health First Aid, and others as directed Required
• Georgia Peace Officer Standards & Training (P.O.S.T.) certification Preferred
