Job summary

Monroe Hospital in Bloomington, IN, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking qualified security personnel for night per diem shifts. The role focuses on electronic surveillance, rounds, and enforcing safety policies to maintain a secure hospital environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Environment of Care committee, training staff on safety, and driving a hospital vehicle as required. Prior healthcare security experience and a State Driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• State Guard Certification Registration Card.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security services, including electronic surveillance and security officer rounds.
• Coordinate facility response to potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors.
• Enforce policy and procedures to ensure a safe workplace and care environment.
• Collaborate with Environment of Care committee for multidisciplinary safety.
• Contribute to employee awareness and education on safety protocols.
• Drive as needed for company business.

Responsibilities

Performs security services, including electronic surveillance, and systematic manual Security Officers rounds. Coordinates facility response to various potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors. Enforces policy & procedure, ensuring equitable enforcement. Follows guidelines and perpetual monitoring techniques, towards establishing a safe workplace for employees and a safe environment of care. Works with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to security and safety. Participates in employee awareness and education. Driving as needed for company business.
