Responsibilities

• Triage, assessment, patient education, and plan of care for ED patients under supervision.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment and patient care under the direction of ED RN or physician.

Education

Responsibilities

Paramedic is responsible for the triage, assessment, patient education, and patient plan of care for patients in the ED, under the supervision of the staff nurse and / or physician. Assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice; Assists in maintenance of a safe environment and performs under the direction and supervision of the ED Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse.
