Job summary

Pinellas County Government seeks an experienced Information Technology Manager for Safety & Emergency Services in Largo, FL. You will lead SES IT operations, oversee a technical team, and ensure 24/7 public-safety technology services, including CAD and NG9-1-1 interfaces, while maintaining CJIS security compliance.

You will collaborate with EMS, Fire Administration, and county partners, shaping roadmaps, budgets, and service levels to deliver reliable, secure IT services for critical operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology-related experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in CJIS-compliant environments and public-safety IT is preferred.
• Strong leadership, vendor management, and budget planning skills.
• Solid understanding of enterprise IT architecture and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate SES technical staff and services.
• Develop SES technology roadmap aligned with divisions’ priorities.
• Maintain service catalogs, SLAs, escalation paths, and reporting.
• Ensure CJIS compliance and security controls across systems.
• Coordinate with EMS/Fire and regional partners on IT needs.
• Oversee CAD, NG9-1-1 interfaces, GIS, and data integrations.
