Job summary

The University of Central Florida Police Department is seeking a Law Enforcement Analyst to collect, organize, evaluate and analyze criminal intelligence information. This role supports the safety of students, staff and visitors through data-driven insight and timely reporting.

Responsibilities include preparing intelligence products, presenting briefings and assisting in major investigations. A strong background in crime analytics and communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree or four years of crime analyst experience preferred as indicated.

Responsibilities

• Collects, organizes, evaluates and coordinates criminal and intelligence information for development of intelligence products.
• Reviews intelligence information from sources to develop tactical and strategic intelligence.
• Prepares and presents intelligence reports, charts and briefings.
• Assists in major case investigations by analyzing reports, data and evidence.
