Job summary

Intrado is looking for a GIS Analyst to support our GIS team in analyzing, interpreting, and managing geographic data. The role emphasizes leadership in spatial data initiatives and delivering actionable insights for public safety and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with geospatial technologies (ArcGIS/QGIS), strong data manipulation skills, and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Geography, GIS, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS or QGIS and geospatial data formats.
• Experience in spatial data analysis and geospatial modeling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead GIS databases development, optimization, and maintenance.
• Conduct spatial analysis and geospatial modeling.
• Design and manage digital maps and GIS products.
• Integrate diverse spatial data sources and ensure data quality.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data reliability.
• Oversee GIS projects and provide field mapping support via phone/Teams.
