Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level dispatch position with potential to advance to Dispatcher II.

Responsibilities

• Receives emergency and non-emergency calls; dispatches Police and emergency units.
• Maintains contact with field personnel; operates transmitting/receiving equipment.
• Enters, updates, retrieves, and clears information in law enforcement databases.
• Provides information and referrals to the public and other agencies.
