Regional Transportation District (RTD) is seeking a Public Safety Dispatcher to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatch police, security, fire, EMS, and coordinate with local jurisdictions. The role requires calm, professional communication and strict confidentiality in a 24/7 public safety environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to submit to extensive background investigation including records verification, references, psychological, polygraph, and drug screening.

Responsabilidades

• Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming calls to determine urgency and dispatch emergency or non-emergency units.
• Disseminate information accurately via CAD system, phones, radio, and databases.
• Coordinate police, fire, EMS responses with local jurisdictions and maintain confidentiality.
