City of Aberdeen is seeking a personable, community-focused Community Safety Specialist to serve the Aberdeen Police Department. This role acts as an ambassador for the city, helping create a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, commuters, and businesses.

Responsibilities include foot patrols in the Main Street district and the TOD around the Aberdeen Amtrak station, engaging with the public, providing information, and building positive relationships to support community engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in law enforcement or security-related field.
