Job summary

AlphaGov delivers public-sector consulting across cities, counties, and utilities with a remote-first approach and occasional client travel. We are engaging a Public Safety CAD/RMS Systems Consultant to support current projects and proposals.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years implementing or managing CAD/RMS systems, familiarity with CJIS and NIBRS, and comfort as a 1099 project-based consultant; campus or university police experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience implementing or managing public safety CAD and RMS systems.
• Knowledge of CJIS Security Policy and NIBRS reporting.
• Experience with law enforcement or emergency communications operations.
• Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant.

Responsibilities

• Document dispatch, records, and field reporting workflows and requirements.
• Evaluate CAD/RMS/mobile solutions and integration (NCIC/state systems, NIBRS reporting).
• Plan data conversion, interfaces, and CJIS-compliant hosting.
• Support implementation, testing, training, and go-live.
• Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming.

What you'll do

• Document dispatch, records, and field reporting workflows and requirements

Requirements Required
