Job summary

AlphaGov is seeking a Public Safety CAD/RMS Systems Consultant to support a university police department replacing its dispatch, records, and mobile field reporting systems with an integrated solution. You will document workflows, evaluate solutions, plan data conversion and interfaces, and assist with implementation, testing, training, and go-live.

This is a remote-first, project-based engagement with occasional client travel.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience implementing or managing public safety CAD and RMS systems.
• Knowledge of CJIS Security Policy and NIBRS reporting.
• Experience with law enforcement or emergency communications operations.
• Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant.

What you'll do

• Document dispatch, records, and field reporting workflows and requirements
• Evaluate CAD/RMS/mobile solutions and integration (NCIC/state systems, NIBRS reporting)
• Plan data conversion, interfaces, and CJIS-compliant hosting
• Support implementation, testing, training, and go-live
• Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming

Required

• At least 5 years of professional experience implementing or managing public safety CAD and RMS systems
