Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking an Applications Developer 2 for the Public Safety Information Technology Delivery Center. You will maintain TraCS modules, build forms with XML and VB.NET, and support interfaces with RMS and CLEAN to improve public safety tools.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting with the TraCS SDK, monitoring automated processes, documenting technical details, and participating in special projects and continuity planning during emergencies.

Qualifications

• The role requires technical problem solving and steady attention to detail.
• XML, VB.NET and related tools experience is preferred.
• Experience with systems integration or interfaces is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve TraCS modules and forms using XML and VB.NET.
• Assist with connections between TraCS and external systems such as RMS and CLEAN.
• Troubleshoot issues using the TraCS SDK and other development tools.
• Check automated processes and respond when they fail.
• Create and update technical documents to support system understanding.
