The Brevard County Sheriff's Office is seeking Public Service Aides to support certified personnel as they prepare for the Basic Law Enforcement Academy. This non-sworn position involves front desk duties, non-emergency public interactions, and various administrative tasks to ensure efficient incident response.

Incumbents must meet citizenship and education requirements, pass the Physical Abilities Test, and commit to admittance to the academy within two years.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years of age.
• US citizen.
• Requires high school diploma or GED and related training as described in qualifications.

Responsabilidades

• Interact with the general public for non-emergency, in-person or phone inquiries.
• Interview victims and witnesses; write case reports.
• Assist with front desk duties as needed.
• Deliver evidence and supplies to and from precincts.
• Transport vehicles to Fleet Maintenance or other locations.
• Organize and stock precinct supplies; perform routine office tasks.
• Engage in duties as assigned and maintain punctual attendance.

Formação académica

High School Diploma or GED and related training (Law Enforcement, Corrections, Criminal Justice, or related field)
