Job summary

The City of Chandler Police Department is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Law Enforcement Senior Technician – Police Aide. This is a full-time, non-exempt role with benefits and a 4/10 schedule across various shifts.

A four-week Police Aide Academy is tentatively planned to begin in January 2027 for recruits hired through this recruitment process. The ideal candidate will combine customer service excellence with teamwork to support police operations and community safety,

Qualifications

• Must have High School or GED equivalency.
• 2 years of public-facing customer service experience, or equivalent.
• Must obtain Level A Terminal Operator Certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Educate the public on area compliance.
• Investigate minor accidents and misdemeanor violations.
• Write reports, complete forms, and issue civil citations.
• Utilize traffic direction devices and operate department vehicles.
• Provide motorists assistance and support traffic safety.
• Willingly perform other duties as assigned.
