The City of Chandler Police Department is seeking qualified individuals to join as Police Officer Recruit. This is a regular full-time, non-exempt position with benefits. The work schedule includes day, swing, night shifts, weekends and holidays.

Starting salary is $36.71 per hour. New hires receive a $1,500 hiring incentive paid in two installments. A 12-month probationary period applies. The selection process includes NTN written exam, AZPOST form, and a rigorous background investigation.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Must be 21 years of age by academy graduation.
• Must meet AZPOST physical health standards.
• Be a citizen of the United States at the time of application submittal.
• Possess a valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
