Position Overview

The Vice President is a key leadership role in our innovative PR agency. This senior management position requires a visionary with 10+ years of experience in team growth and client satisfaction. Responsibilities include business development, operational leadership, mentoring, and strategic guidance. The role is pivotal in serving as a mentor, manager, and example for account teams, focusing on client management, staff development, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic communications plans to enhance brand identity.
  • Create marketing/public relations strategies to build relationships with media and influencers.
  • Identify organizational challenges and emerging issues.
  • Collaborate with leadership to recognize communication opportunities and implement strategies.
  • Act as a spokesperson and lead media interactions.
  • Oversee daily communications activities, including budgeting and staffing.
  • Recruit, manage, and mentor the communications team.
  • Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Manage staff performance, set objectives, and conduct evaluations.
  • Participate in networking, seminars, and conferences for professional growth and business development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field.
  • At least 10 years in a senior management role, in-house or agency.
  • Proven ability to build media relationships and secure high-impact placements.
  • Extensive writing and editing experience across multiple media.
  • Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns.
  • Leadership in strategic communications, media relations, and marketing programs.
  • Innovative use of new media technologies.
  • Strong leadership, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to measure ROI of communications activities.
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, results-oriented.
