As a Senior Cloud Network Security Engineer, you will play a critical role on the Cloud Networking team, leading the design, development, and optimization of advanced networking solutions across our cloud infrastructure. You’ll support a range of environments, including PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS, and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) across multiple cloud platforms. You’ll also mentor team members, drive innovation, and ensure high standards of performance, security, and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available network architectures across public cloud platforms, primarily Azure and AWS.
- Enhance security posture of multi-cloud environments by implementing advanced networking and segmentation strategies.
- Collaborate with security operations and architecture teams to identify and remediate network security gaps.
- Support seamless integrations across PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS platforms.
- Mentor and guide team members to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing.
- Monitor and manage multi-cloud network environments, lead incident response, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Lead enterprise networking efforts involving routing, peering, SD-WAN, firewalls, load balancers, and related infrastructure.
- Contribute to Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) initiatives and align cloud strategies with organizational objectives.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud network services and M&A migration projects to support onboarding and operational efficiency.
- Optimize network design and operations to drive cost savings and simplify cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with SOX, PCI, and other regulatory standards; maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Evaluate and introduce emerging cloud networking technologies to modernize infrastructure.
- Provide architectural and engineering guidance to cross-functional teams, especially in collaboration with security.
- Act as an escalation point for complex network and security-related issues.
- Lead automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) practices to improve scalability and reduce manual tasks.
- Drive efforts to reduce technical debt and optimize existing infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain load balancing platforms to ensure performance and uptime.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure resilience.
- Monitor and improve networking KPIs and metrics, driving continuous improvement.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
- Champion automation to improve operational workflows and reduce manual processes.

Qualifications:- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in cloud networking and infrastructure design in Azure, AWS, or similar public cloud platforms.
- Proven expertise in designing secure, high-performance, scalable network solutions.
- Strong background in managing firewalls, load balancers, and other core network infrastructure.
- Experience in enterprise-scale environments (2,000+ users).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Track record of mentoring team members and fostering collaboration.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with compliance and audit requirements (SOX, PCI).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and automation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
- Azure and/or AWS networking certifications preferred.
- Project management experience a plus.
