The State of Maine is seeking a Public Relations Specialist in Augusta to join the Maine State Police communications team. Salary Range: $20.68 - $28.88/Hour

Position Location: Augusta

Description: Join the Maine State Police communications team as a social media, photography, and videography specialist. In this dynamic role, you'll help tell the story of the Maine State Police by creating engaging, informative content across our social media platforms. From capturing compelling photos and video in the field to developing creative digital content, you'll have a unique opportunity to showcase the work of our troopers and connect with communities across Maine. We're looking for someone who brings creativity, professionalism and accuracy to every assignment and understands the responsibility that comes with representing the Maine State Police.

Entry Level Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of public relations work.

Minimum Qualifications:

A four (4) year combination of education, training, and/or experience in outdoor education, public relations, or program management. Education in other fields must be supplemented by two (2) years of work experience which provides knowledge of professional outdoor education, public relations, various media, and/or information dissemination techniques.
