Rohadfox Construction Control Services is seeking a Public Outreach Specialist I to provide communications, outreach, and administrative support for the ATMP Roadways and Enabling Projects. You will report to the Public Information Specialist II and assist with public information initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and project communications.

The role requires on-site presence at Airport offices and project locations and may include evenings or extended hours for outreach events.

Rohadfox Construction Control Services is currently looking for a Public Outreach Specialist l who will provide communications, outreach, and administrative support for the Airfield and Terminal Modernization Program (ATMP) Roadways and Enabling Projects (Century Beautification, Airport Gateway, various Airport Landside projects, etc.). You will be reporting to the Public Information Specialist II. You will assist with the implementation of public information and community outreach initiatives, stakeholder engagement activities, public notifications, and project communications. Supports efforts to maintain accurate, timely, and consistent communication with project stakeholders, community members, businesses, and the public throughout project planning, design, and construction activities.

Hardware/Software Knowledge

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Familiarity with Canva and Adobe CreativeSuite.
• Experience working with website content management systems (CMS), including Drupal or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Benchmark or similar systems.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and content management tools.
• Ability to maintain electronic records, contact databases, and project communication logs.

Professional Experience Level / Other Qualifications

• Experience in public outreach, public relations, communications, community engagement, or a related field.
• Experience supporting public infrastructure, transportation, aviation, construction, or government projects preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and quality control abilities.
• Ability to interact professionally with community members, businesses, agencies, elected officials, and project stakeholders.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service and stakeholder relations skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Construction project experience preferred.

Education / Training

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Public Administration, Planning, Political Science, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in communications, public engagement, marketing, or project management are desirable.

Element-Specific Requirements / Notes

• May perform other duties as assigned.
• May be required to work evenings, weekends, or extended hours to support outreach events and project milestones.
• Position requires on site presence at Airport offices and project locations.
• Must live within commuting distance of work site
• Position is not eligible for remote work.
• Full-time, salaried position based on a 40-hour work week.
• Occasional field visits and attendance at community meetings and public events are required.
• Transportation to and from the Airport worksite is the responsibility of the employee/consultant.
