Yes& is seeking a Public Relations Senior Account Manager to lead strategic and tactical client PR programs. This remote role works in a client-facing capacity with media and editorial communities, coordinating multiple deliverables to ensure impactful coverage.

The ideal candidate has significant media relations experience, superb writing and presentation skills, and a track record of managing complex accounts. Agency experience and comfort with regulated industries are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 5-7+ years in public relations, with at least 3 in account management.
• Experience with regulated industries, B2B or B2G.
• Strong writing, research, communication and oral presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and accounts.
• Experience building media relationships and driving coverage.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for select PR clients, handling communications, deliverables, and reporting.

• Create case studies, collateral, whitepapers, blogs, direct marketing pieces, executive call for speakers, and related talking points and award nominations.
• Pitch media proactively and coordinate interviews and coverage opportunities.
• Develop press kits, briefing documents and supporting materials.
• Write and pitch press releases and oversee media tracking.
• Develop op-eds/bylined articles.
• Advise clients on press-related issues.
• Provide ideas for generating media coverage and campaigns.
• Serve as a storyteller and “news junkie” for clients.

Public Relations Senior Account Manager

Yes& is looking for a Public Relations Senior Account Manager who will help manage the strategic and tactical components of client public relations programs. The ideal candidate will have significant media relations experience as well as demonstrate strong written, oral, project management and communications skills and be able to effectively juggle multiple client deliverables simultaneously. The PR Senior Account Manager must be highly motivated and excel in working in both a client-facing role as well as with the media/editorial community. Role will also include support for new business/business development pursuits, as needed. Prior work in an agency environment and/or in regulated industries such as government, energy, higher education, technology, or critical infrastructure is a plus

What you will do:

• Serve as the main point of contact for a select number of Yes&’s public relations clients, including all communications, management of client deliverables and reporting requirements
• Develop and execute comprehensive and strategic public relations and communications plans
• Develop other related content such as case studies, collateral pieces, whitepapers, blogs, direct marketing pieces, executive call for speakers, and related talking points and award nomination
• Spearhead the creation and development of news/feature angles and proactively pitch media to coordinate interviews and coverage opportunities
• Develop press kits, briefing documents and supporting materials
• Write and pitch press releases and oversee media tracking.
• Develop and place op-eds/bylined articles
• Act as an advisor to clients on press-related issues
• Provide creative ideas for generating media coverage and other marketing related campaigns for clients
• Serve as a proactive storyteller and “news junkie” for clients

Experience You Need:

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
• 5-7+ years of experience in a public relations environment, with at least 3 years in an account management role.
• Experience with regulated industries, B2B, or B2G client work
• General consulting experience, including critical thinking, analysis, and planning
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and accounts
• Superior writing, research, communication and oral presentation skills
• Ability to communicate directly with clients and the media
• Background in building and fostering media relationships
• Significant track record of driving media coverage

Experience that would be a plus, but not required:

• Time reporting and project management in Workamajig and ClickUp
• Personnel and/or resource management
• Understanding of the Meltwater PR platform and wire distribution services
