RH Strategic in Washington, DC is seeking an Associate, Public Relations to join our team. This full-time role collaborates with PR, public affairs, creative and strategy on client accounts in a fast-paced agency.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of PR experience, strong writing and project management skills, and the flexibility to contribute across disciplines. This in-office role requires three days per week in the DMV area.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in public relations, strategic communications, or related experience.
• Experience in a PR agency environment within the past two years.
• Experience translating client objectives into campaign activities.
• Strong writing and editing skills with messaging documents, press releases and pitches.
• Experience supporting media relations, including outreach and interview prep.
• Ability to understand clients' businesses, industries and competitive landscapes.
• Strong organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced agency.
• Demonstrated collaboration and relationship-building with colleagues and clients.

Responsabilités

• Support development and execution of integrated PR and public affairs campaigns.
• Monitor media coverage, policy developments and industry trends.
• Collaborate with account teams to develop messaging and materials.
• Manage projects, timelines, deliverables, and team responsibilities.
