Job description Hitachi Vantara is looking for a Public Relations Associate to help us support the company’s presence in North America. This person is a storyteller who works hard to generate media coverage and ensure proper tracking and reporting of content. The successful candidate understands evolving market trends, maintains relationships, and can connect the dots across a portfolio of data-centric hardware, software and services to create compelling storylines. S/he is a strong writer and communicator who loves to roll up their sleeves, working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and PR agency partners to deliver top results. The primary objective of this role is to help Hitachi Vantara bolster its reputation as a provider of technology solutions for clients seeking to advance their AI-enabled data storage needs. The primary area of support will be for data storage, but our portfolio spans hardware, software, and services addressing all aspects of the data lifecycle, which will come into play. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to use their creativity and story development skills to drive external communications for an established but evolving global business. This position reports to the Senior Director of Global Communications and sits within the company’s Global Corporate Marketing and Communications organization.
Location for this position is remote.
As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $60K to $70k. Expected on-target earnings: $64K to $75K. The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara’s bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
