We are a tight-knit crew, and we punch well above our weight—our team has helped launch and scale brands like Salesforce, LinkedIn, and Remind. Our people are curious, humble, gutsy and collaborative. We embrace change, act fast, and take pride in delivering creative, smart, and meaningful work that moves the needle.

If you're energized by tech, passionate about storytelling, and ready to work in a fast-moving, inclusive environment where titles matter less than talent—this is your place.

About You

You're driven, detail-obsessed, and eager to grow. You follow the news, connect the dots between emerging trends and bigger stories, and get excited about finding fresh ways to put innovative brands in the spotlight.

You're equally comfortable drafting a compelling pitch, researching a reporter, or jumping into a brainstorm with a bold idea. You take ownership of your work, ask thoughtful questions, and know that the little details make a big difference.

As an AAE at Nectar, you'll work alongside seasoned communications professionals to bring creative, high-impact campaigns to life. You'll have opportunities to sharpen your media relations skills, build meaningful client relationships, and contribute directly to the success of some of the most exciting companies in technology.

You bring curiosity, hustle, and a collaborative spirit. You're ready to learn, eager to contribute, and excited to grow your career with a team that values great ideas, strong execution, and people who make each other better.

What You Do
  • Support day-to-day execution across 3-4 technology-focused client accounts, helping teams deliver exceptional work and meaningful results
  • Draft compelling media pitches, press releases, media alerts, award submissions, and other client-facing content
  • Build and maintain targeted media lists, identifying reporters, publications, podcasts, and emerging platforms relevant to client stories
  • Conduct proactive media outreach, develop relationships with journalists, and support follow-ups that generate meaningful coverage
  • Monitor breaking news, industry trends, and competitor activity to identify timely storytelling opportunities
  • Research emerging technologies, market developments, and cultural conversations to inform creative campaign ideas
  • Track media coverage, compile reporting, and help measure campaign performance against client objectives
  • Prepare briefing documents, talking points, meeting agendas, and other materials that keep clients and teams informed
  • Coordinate interviews, media briefings, speaking opportunities, and award submissions
  • Manage action items, project timelines, and weekly status updates to ensure seamless account execution
  • Draft social media content and support integrated storytelling across earned, owned, and digital channels
  • Contribute fresh thinking to brainstorms, creative campaigns, and new business opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with account leads and teammates, proactively communicating updates and flagging challenges
  • Participate in internal training and professional development opportunities to build your communications expertise
What You Offer
  • 1-2+ years of preferred experience in public relations, communications, or marketing, including relevant internships
  • Previous experience at a PR or communications agency preferred, particularly supporting B2B technology, enterprise software, AI, or emerging technology brands
  • Strong writing, editing, research, and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling stories
  • Foundational knowledge of media relations, including developing media lists, drafting pitches, and understanding what makes a story newsworthy
  • Genuine curiosity about technology, business, media, and the evolving communications landscape
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and willingness to take ownership of assignments
  • Strong collaboration skills, openness to feedback, and enthusiasm for learning from experienced teammates
  • Confidence contributing ideas, asking questions, and communicating with colleagues and clients
  • Familiarity with media monitoring, research, and reporting tools is a plus
  • Champion the use of AI tools and emerging technology to enhance writing, research, media intelligence, and content production efficiency while maintaining accuracy and quality
