TikTok is offering a Project Intern position in Washington, DC, within its Global Public Policy & Government Affairs team. You will work on impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced setting, developing practical skills relevant to tech policy and public affairs.

You will track Federal and State legislation, monitor hearings, draft memorandums, attend industry events, and support the team in engaging policymakers while gaining exposure to growth and innovation

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in public policy or related tech-policy discipline.
• Experience on the Hill with writing experience.
• Able to commit to a 14‑week Summer internship and work onsite 4–5 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Track relevant legislation at the Federal and State levels.

• Draft memorandums and documents related to Federal and State legislation and tech‑related updates.
• Attend tech-related events.
• Assist the Public Policy team in reaching policymakers.

【For Pay Transparency】 Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern - Washington, DC

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is 27- 27.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year).
