Job summary

Indiana Farm Bureau, Inc. invites students for a summer internship in our downtown Indianapolis headquarters. The role focuses on activities that engage members in public policy and clarifies how policy affects Indiana agriculture.

Description

The Indiana Farm Bureau, Inc. public policy team advocates on behalf of Hoosier farmers and Indiana agriculture. While our lobbyists push through state legislation, on-the-ground teams assist individual farmers with local concerns. Staff, leadership and member volunteers also advocate in Washington to make sure federal policy favors farmers and agriculture.

As a summer intern you will work approximately 37.5 hours per week at our downtown headquarters, from mid-May to Mid-August, with the possibility of occasional after-hours events.

Work will center on activities that enhance Farm Bureau member engagement in public policy and understanding how the policy will impact Indiana agriculture.
