Job summary

Fives DyAG Corp. seeks a Staff Public Involvement Specialist in Albuquerque, NM to manage outreach for large-scale permitting and construction projects.

Onsite role with 12-month contract, paying $30.00–$40.00 per hour (USD). Responsibilities include developing outreach plans, coordinating with clients and teams, planning meetings, producing stakeholder communications, and translating complex project details for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or related field with 4 years of strategic communication experience.
• Master’s degree in a related field is preferred with 3 years of strategic communication experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform public involvement, public relations, and community outreach activities for clients' capital projects.
• Develop and implement public involvement strategies, outreach plans, key messages, and communication materials.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, technical teams, contractors, and field staff to understand project schedules and impacts.
• Plan and coordinate public meetings, information sessions, stakeholder briefings, surveys, and other outreach activities.
• Develop and distribute project communications including fact sheets, brochures, newsletters, and website content.
• Communicate project and construction impacts, including traffic changes and detours.
• Conduct outreach with residents, property owners, businesses, and government agencies.
• Respond to public questions and coordinate with project teams for timely follow-up.
• Translate technical information into clear communications for diverse audiences.
• Participate in government briefings, community meetings, and project presentations.
• Maintain stakeholder lists, outreach records, and issue logs.
• Identify emerging community issues and communicate concerns to leadership.
• Meet with clients and teams to develop messages and outreach approaches.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.
