Job summary

CLMI Group in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Public Outreach Specialist I to support the Airfield and Terminal Modernization Program communications.

You will implement outreach plans, engage stakeholders, prepare notices, update websites, and coordinate public events. This onsite role requires strong writing, organization, and teamwork.

Full-time position with benefits; salary range $109,000–$118,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications or related field.
• Experience in public outreach or community engagement.
• Experience supporting public infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of outreach plans and stakeholder engagement.
• Track inquiries, comments, and requests for information; escalate as needed.
• Prepare traffic advisories, notices, updates, and community notifications.
• Maintain stakeholder databases and distribution lists.
• Draft routine correspondence, meeting notices, and outreach materials.
• Coordinate logistics for public outreach events and meetings.
• Assist with website updates and CMS content management.
