Job summary

Kentucky Educational Television (KET) in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Strategist to lead data strategy, governance and reporting across platforms. You will design dashboards, scorecards and KPIs that inform leadership decisions and program performance.

The role requires building data pipelines, collaborating with marketing, fundraising and operations, and ensuring data quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
• Experience collecting, organizing and managing large data sets from multiple sources.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio or similar tools.
• Knowledge and experience in using AI tools to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced functions, pivot tables and data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate and manage data from multiple sources including digital platforms, CRM, fundraising systems, broadcast and streaming, email marketing, social media.
• Design, develop and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards and automated tools that track performance and KPIs.
• Translate complex quantitative information into clear insights for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting platforms and dashboards.
• Coordinate with departments and vendors to maintain reporting integrations and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve efficiency with BI tools.
• Support strategic planning, marketing effectiveness and fundraising performance through data analysis.
• Respond to data requests from leadership and collaborate with departments to answer business questions.
