Job summary

Village of Roselle is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the planning, design and construction of public infrastructure. You will oversee annual street, sidewalk, and utility programs with substantial budgets and guide consultants to ensure projects meet all regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in civil engineering, Illinois P.E. licensure, and 5+ years in public works or civil engineering, plus supervisory experience. A C.F.M. credential and CAD/GIS skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Illinois P.E. licensure required by hire.
• 5+ years of progressive public works/civil engineering experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience (preferred).
• C.F.M. credential and AutoCAD/GIS experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital programs from planning through closeout.
• Shape the Village's next Capital Improvement Plan.
• Review plans, specs, and permits for development in line with regulations.
• Direct inspection and project closeout, resolving field issues.
• Supervise Civil Engineer and interns on a collaborative team.
