City of Tucson's Police Department seeks a Photo and Video Production Specialist to create educational and transparency videos for external audiences and training videos for internal use. The role also covers photography of department activities and community events, with content shared across social media and communications channels.

The position reports to a police sergeant, does not supervise, and involves occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekend events.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree.
Experience: Three (3) years of relevant experience.
Equivalency: Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
License/Certifications: FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate; valid Arizona Class D driver license.

Responsabilités

Creates and distributes recruiting, training, educational, and transparency videos.
Captures department activities, events, and community engagement through photographs.
Creates and distributes social media content, marketing packages and communications materials.
Builds and executes social media strategy through audience research.
Develops plans or materials to communicate organizational activities that are beneficial to public safety.
Performs all other duties and tasks as assigned.
