Job summary

The Missouri House of Representatives seeks a skilled photographer and multimedia specialist to capture legislative sessions, events, and public-facing activities in Jefferson City. You will operate and maintain photography and video equipment, edit and publish images, manage digital archives, and create visual content for the House’s websites and social channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in photography or related field; professional photography experience preferred.
• Experience with digital photography, photo editing software, and content management systems.
• Experience in government or public affairs environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Photograph legislative sessions, committee events, and related activities.
• Operate and maintain photographic, video, lighting, and multimedia equipment.
• Edit, process, and prepare photographs for publication and distribution.
• Maintain digital photo archives and asset management systems.
• Create visual content for House websites, social media, and publications.
• Coordinate with members and staff to document public-interest activities.
• Assist with multimedia projects including video production and graphic design.
