Job summary

Outagamie County Public Health is seeking a WIC Program Supervisor to lead the WIC unit, plan and administer the Wisconsin WIC program including breastfeeding support, and collaborate with partners to improve nutrition services for participants.

Location: Appleton, WI. Core hours are 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with some evenings/weekends as needed. Requires a BS in Dietetics/Nutrition and an RDN with Wisconsin CD, plus supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Foods and Nutrition, or related field is required.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), and CD in Wisconsin required.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct and evaluate WIC Unit staff activities.
• Assist in interviewing and hiring; train staff and ensure ongoing training.
• Coordinate with fiscal staff on budget and expenditures.
• Represent WIC at meetings and advisory boards.
• Develop policies and ensure compliance with WIC and county policies.
