Zusammenfassung

Waukesha County’s Department of Health & Human Services is seeking an LTE Public Health Technician to support health screenings and client services in a county clinic.

The role includes direct customer service, WIC intake, growth measurements, capillary testing, and data entry across multiple systems. On-the-job training will be provided; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to assist diverse populations.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of one approved post-secondary course in a health-related field.
• One year of experience in a health-related field.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
• Experience working with infants/young children in group settings or coursework related to childcare/child development.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct customer service in-person and by phone.
• Complete intake services for WIC families.
• Perform height and weight measurements (training provided).
• Conduct capillary testing for hemoglobin and lead (training provided).
• Perform data entry and reporting using various computer systems.
• Maintain supplies for screenings and programs.
