Job summary

The Florida Department of Health in Tallahassee seeks a Government Operations Consultant III to oversee the Florida Stroke Registry and the Paul Coverdell National Acute Stroke Program, directing programmatic and fiscal activities.

You will coordinate reporting, manage data, and develop materials for clinicians and the public, collaborating with partners to advance statewide stroke systems of care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to collaborate across units and present in reports or trainings.
• Ability to work independently and with others; communicate clearly in writing and verbally; multitask.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall direction for collaborations and resources to support stroke systems of care in Florida.
• Responsible for required reports, grant deliverables, and related documents for the stroke programs.
• Oversee the Florida Stroke Registry data system and performance metrics statewide.
• Develops materials with DOH partners to inform clinicians and the public about stroke prevention.
• Serves as SME and liaison to DOH, agencies, workgroups, and partners on vascular health.
• Plan, implement, monitor, evaluate and report activities reducing chronic diseases statewide.
