Job summary

Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services company, seeks a Statistician II to support CDC with statistical and analytical activities for public health surveillance, epidemiologic studies, survey research, and program evaluation.

You will apply biostatistical methods, assist study design, interpret findings, and contribute to scientific manuscripts, reports, and presentations.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Public Health, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in statistical analysis for public health or epidemiologic studies.
Experience with SAS, R, STATA, SUDAAN, or equivalent tools.
Experience in descriptive, inferential, regression, and survey data analyses.

Responsibilities

Provide statistical and analytical support for public health surveillance and epidemiologic studies.
Develop survey designs, sampling methods, weighting, and analysis plans.
Analyze surveillance and survey datasets using established methods.
Support sample size calculations and power analyses.
Develop and maintain statistical programming code in SAS, R, SUDAAN, STATA.
Collaborate with epidemiologists and program staff to support study implementation.
Prepare statistical summaries, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
Contribute to scientific manuscripts and technical reports.
Participate in methodological discussions and provide analytical recommendations.
Assist with data quality assurance and validation.
