Job summary
The Georgia Department of Public Health, North Central Health District's HOPE Center in Macon, GA, seeks a Public Health Registered Nurse to support HIV/AIDS care, immunizations, health education, and community outreach while upholding nursing standards.

Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- One year of nursing experience and completion of a PHN course within one year of hire.
- Current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license and CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to individuals living with HIV/AIDS and deliver services per established protocols.
- Conduct patient assessments and administer immunizations.
- Provide health education and coordinate care with patients, families, and community partners.
- Screen and refer clients to appropriate community services.
- Participate in drills related to pandemic influenza and mass dispensing.
- Develop plans of care and modify treatments based on patient response.
