Job summary

The National Indian Health Board is seeking a Project Coordinator to support public health infrastructure and capacity across Tribal partners and stakeholders. You will coordinate activities, track timelines, and produce reports while translating findings into clear summaries and presentations for diverse audiences.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will collaborate with Tribal organizations, manage meetings, and help advance health equity for AI/AN communities through the PHICCs initiative

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor's in Public Health, Social Sciences, Project Management or related field preferred.
• 35+ years of project coordination experience preferred; combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Experience communicating quantitative and qualitative data.
• Strong report writing, summarizing, and formal presentation skills.
• Familiarity with AI/AN health, Tribal health systems, and public health frameworks.
• Strong teamwork, facilitation, and cross-sector collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and meetings for NIHB programs.
• Prepare status updates, reports, summaries, and written materials.
• Support development of Tribal public health assessments and surveys.
• Translate assessment findings into reports, summaries, and presentations.
• Engage Tribal organizations and stakeholders in planned activities.
• Align work with NIHB mission and values; support capacity building.
