Job summary

The trainee progresses toward Health Program Specialist 1 by gaining experience in program operations, data analysis, and collaboration with local agencies and community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a public health, health science, social or behavioral science or closely related field applicable to the program area.
• One year of paraprofessional/technical health-related experience if using an Associate’s degree.
• Two years of experience if using a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maternal and infant health program activities for local implementing agencies.
• Provide technical assistance in fiscal monitoring and program evaluation.
• Develop, implement and evaluate objectives and procedures for Title V Maternal and Child Health Program.
