Job summary

Tulane University, housed at the Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, seeks a Program Coordinator III to coordinate activities for the Center for Youth Equity and Mary Amelia Center for Women’s Health Equity Research projects. You will assist directors and staff in outreach, dissemination, data collection, and post-award procedures, supporting reporting and grant writing.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health with one year of related experience, including social media and web communications; or High School Diploma with 4 years of relevant experience.
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience interacting with diverse populations, including youth, in the New Orleans community.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and implementation of outreach and dissemination activities and research projects.
• Assist directors, program managers and staff in planning and implementing community-facing dissemination activities; assist with data collection and post-award procedures on select projects.
• Support reporting and scientific dissemination and grant writing.
