Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a skilled Power BI Analytics Specialist in the Atlanta area to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions. You will translate stakeholder requirements into actionable insights, build optimized data models, and implement ETL workflows using Power Query (M).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years BI analytics, reporting, or data science.
• Experience designing, developing, and administering enterprise Power BI solutions.
• Strong DAX optimization and performance tuning.
• Proficient with Power Query (M) and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience in data modeling and dimensional design; knowledge of RLS and deployment pipelines.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable analytics and reporting products.
• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for operational insights.
• Translate business and stakeholder requirements into analytics and reporting products.
• Develop and optimize Power BI data models and DAX measures for performance.
• Design data transformation workflows using Power Query (M).
• Perform statistical analyses to support program evaluation and decisions.
• Conduct geospatial visualization using GIS tools and Power BI maps.
• Collaborate with leaders and data stewards to define KPIs and standards.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop documentation, data dictionaries, and reporting methodologies.
• Support analytics initiatives for public health, healthcare, and government programs.
• Explore AI/ML capabilities to enhance analytics workflows and insights.
