Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Power BI Analyst to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for public health analytics. You will translate stakeholder needs into scalable analytics products and optimize Power BI data models, DAX measures, and ETL workflows.

The role emphasizes data quality, governance, and collaboration with program leaders to define KPIs and reporting standards for mission-focused analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS PUBLIC TRUST.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in BI, analytics, or healthcare/government context.
• Experience designing enterprise Power BI solutions with advanced modeling and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytics.
• Glean requirements from stakeholders and translate into analytics products.
• Develop and optimize Power BI data models, semantic models, and DAX measures.
• Build data transformations using Power Query (M) and ETL/ELT processes.
• Conduct statistical analyses to support program decision-making.
• Perform geospatial and GIS-informed visualizations with Power BI maps.
• Profile and validate data quality for accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with program leaders and data stewards to define metrics and KPIs.
• Support public health, healthcare, or government analytics initiatives with visualization.
• Leverage AI/ML capabilities to enhance analytics workflows and insights.
• Create technical documentation and dashboards user guides.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
