Job summary

Granville Vance Public Health seeks an experienced Director of Nursing: Public Health Programs to lead a broad portfolio of public health services across Granville and Vance counties. The role combines clinical leadership with program management, regulatory oversight, and grant administration.

The successful candidate will direct clinics, education, immunizations, maternal and child health, home visiting, and lab operations, while guiding staff development and community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or higher with public health nursing experience.
• BSN with public health nursing experience and supervisory responsibilities.
• MPH or related combination accepted with nursing licensure and leadership.
• Direct experience in public health program administration and grant management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for public health nursing programs.
• Oversee staffing, budgets, and grant activities across public health services.
• Supervise Public Health Nursing Supervisors and program staff.
• Ensure nursing practice aligns with regulatory requirements and standards.
• Build partnerships with community organizations and partners.
