Job summary

Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties is seeking a full-time Nursing Director to lead nursing staff and programs, providing clinical expertise and strategic guidance across community health services.

The ideal candidate holds Michigan RN licensure, a bachelor’s in nursing or related field (master’s preferred), and several years of public health nursing experience; CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Michigan.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare, or business management required; master’s degree preferred.
• Public health nursing experience is preferred; CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and clinical expertise to nursing staff and program coordinators.
• Develop and deliver community health programs, policies, and objectives.
• Exercise independent judgment to plan, direct, and evaluate the scope of nursing services.
• Support strategic initiatives and ensure high-quality patient care across programs.
