Job summary

Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties is seeking a dedicated Nursing Director to lead nursing staff and program coordinators. This full-time role offers direction, clinical expertise, and strategic guidance in developing and delivering community health programs.

You will exercise independent judgment, oversee quality and scope of services, and contribute to policy objectives, with a comprehensive benefits package included.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in Michigan.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare, or business management; master’s degree preferred.
• Three years of public health nursing experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification recognized by ARC or AHA.
• Current valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and clinical guidance to nursing staff and program coordinators.
• Develop and deliver community health programs, policies, and objectives.
• Exercise director-level responsibility and strategic oversight of services.
• Plan, direct, and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of public health services.
