Minnesota Merit System in Saint James, MN invites applications for a Public Health Nurse/Registered Nurse/Nutrition Coordinator (WIC Coordinator). This full-time, on-site position serves Watonwan County, with a schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

The role will be matched to the appropriate level based on qualifications. Join a dedicated Public Health team to support health needs of individuals, families and communities, including WIC, MCH and related programs.

Qualifications

• Public Health Nurse certification or MN RN licensure required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or closely related field, or RN licensure.
• Strong nursing skills and ability to coordinate multiple service providers.

Responsabilités

• Assess clients' needs and coordinate services with providers.
• Provide direct skilled nursing services as prescribed by physician.
• Educate clients on healthful living and related topics (nutrition, hygiene, safety).
• Supervise and train family members and aides in nursing care.
• Coordinate care plans with physicians, home health aides, and social workers.

Formation

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics or RN licensure
